Data Deletion Instructions

Ariven, Inc. ("Ariven") respects your right to delete personal data we process about you. This page explains how to request deletion of data associated with your Meta (Facebook) account that was shared with Ariven when you connected Meta to the Ariven app.

What data Ariven stores from Meta

When you connect your Meta Business account to Ariven, we store:

• An OAuth access token (encrypted at rest) used to read your ad data
• Your Meta user ID and Business Manager IDs
• A cached snapshot of campaign, adset, ad, and insights data fetched via the Meta Marketing API for analytics purposes

Ariven does not store personally identifiable end-customer data from Meta. We do not receive or store Meta user passwords.

How to request deletion

You can delete your Meta-related data in any of the following ways:

Option 1 — Disconnect Meta inside the Ariven app

1. Open the Ariven app inside your Shopify admin.
2. Go to Settings → Integrations → Meta.
3. Click "Disconnect."

This immediately:

• Revokes the OAuth access token with Meta
• Deletes the encrypted token from our systems
• Deletes the cached Meta ads data tied to your account within 30 days

Option 2 — Revoke Ariven from Meta directly

1. Visit https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools
2. Find "Ariven" in the list of connected apps and click "Remove."

We will be notified by Meta of the revocation and will delete your cached Meta data within 30 days.

Option 3 — Email request

If you cannot access either of the above, email chris@ariven.ai with the subject line "Meta Data Deletion Request" and include:

• Your Shopify store domain
• The Meta Business name connected to Ariven

We will confirm deletion within 30 days.

Backups

Encrypted backups maintained by our infrastructure provider (Google Cloud Platform) are retained for up to 90 days beyond the deletion date and are not directly accessible. They are permanently purged in the normal backup rotation.
