Ariven, Inc. ("Ariven," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at ariven.ai (the "Site").

This policy covers our marketing website only. Data processed by the Ariven Shopify application on a merchant's storefront is governed by our App Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you interact with our Site, including:

• Email address — when you submit the early access request form.
• Communications — any information you provide when contacting us directly via email.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Site, certain information may be collected automatically, including:

• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Referring URL
• Pages viewed and time spent on pages
• Date and time of visit

This information is collected through standard web server logs and our hosting provider (Vercel), and through the analytics services described below.

Analytics and Session Analytics

We use two third-party services to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. Neither is an advertising service, and we do not run advertising or cross-site retargeting pixels on this Site.

• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — measures aggregate traffic: pages viewed, how you arrived (referrer, search, or campaign), approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and interactions with key buttons such as "Start free on Shopify" and "Book a demo."
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) — records how visitors interact with pages, including mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling, and reconstructs those interactions as session replays and aggregated heatmaps. Clarity may capture on-screen page content as part of a replay.

What session replay does not capture. Clarity is configured with its default masking, which hides text you type into form fields — including the email address you enter in our early access form — from the replay. We do not use Clarity to read form input, and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors from replays. We use these tools to understand behavior in aggregate, not to build profiles of named people.

Both services operate as independent controllers of the data they collect and process it under their own privacy policies: Google Privacy Policy and Microsoft Privacy Statement. Both may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your early access request and communicate with you about Ariven
• Send product updates and announcements related to our platform
• Monitor and analyze usage trends, page performance, and navigation patterns to improve the Site
• Diagnose usability problems and broken or confusing page elements
• Measure which pages and referral sources bring us prospective customers
• Comply with legal obligations

We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your email address is stored securely using our hosting provider's encrypted storage infrastructure. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers — with trusted third-party services that help us operate our Site (e.g., hosting, email delivery), subject to confidentiality obligations.
• Analytics providers — Google (Google Analytics 4) and Microsoft (Clarity) receive the usage data described in Section 1 directly from your browser when you visit the Site. We do not send them your email address or any other information you submit to us.
• Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets.

5. Cookies

Our Site uses essential cookies required for basic functionality, plus analytics cookies set by the services described in Section 1. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run cross-site retargeting or ad-network pixels on this Site.

Microsoft may also set cookies on its own clarity.ms domain (such as CLID andMUID) when Clarity loads. Those are controlled by Microsoft, not by us, and are described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement linked above.

How to opt out

We do not currently show a cookie consent banner on this Site. You can opt out of analytics at any time by any of the following means:

• Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Use Microsoft's Clarity opt-out or the general Microsoft privacy dashboard.
• Enable "Do Not Track" or block third-party cookies in your browser settings, or use a browser with built-in tracker blocking. Both services are blocked by common privacy extensions and tracker blockers, and the Site works normally when they are blocked.
• Clear cookies for this Site to reset any identifiers already stored.

6. Your Rights

For All Users

You may at any time:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of receiving communications from us

California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
• Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

European Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights including:

• Right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data
• Right to restrict or object to processing
• Right to data portability
• Right to withdraw consent at any time

Our legal bases for processing your personal data are:

• Consent — when you submit your email address to us.
• Legitimate interest — for communicating with prospective customers, and for the analytics described in Section 1, where our interest is understanding and improving how our website performs. You may object to this processing at any time using the opt-out methods in Section 5 or by contacting us.

Because we do not currently operate a consent banner, visitors in the EEA and UK who prefer that no analytics data be collected should use one of the opt-out methods in Section 5 before browsing the Site.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Analytics data is retained by the provider that collects it, under the retention period configured in our account and that provider's own policies. Session replays in Microsoft Clarity are retained for a limited period and then deleted automatically. Because analytics data is not linked to your name or email address, we may be unable to locate records associated with a specific individual; if you ask us to delete analytics data, we will direct you to the provider-level controls in Section 5, which stop further collection.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
